Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce offers many programs to add value to your membership such as:

Annual Meeting in January

The Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting is January 24, 2012.  Pointer of Distinction Awards are presented at the Chamber Annual Meeting at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial.

Categories are:

Youth Achievement: The student must be currently enrolled in a Grosse Pointe high school, excel academically as well be involved in extra-curricular activities. The student must also be involved in one foundation or charitable activity and provide letters of recommendation.

Community Service: Nominee must be a Grosse Pointe resident who is involved and has made an impact in the community as well as exhibit leadership.

Excellence in Business: Nominee must live or work in Grosse Pointe, be accomplished in the area of business and must provide letters of recommendation.

New Business Enterprise: Nominee must live or work in Grosse Pointe, have launched a successful business within the last five years, have a solid business plan in place and be able to provide letters of recommendation.

Learn at Lunch

Learn at Lunch is an educational workshop while enjoying a delicious lunch! The workshop is conducted by local business experts, Chamber board members and  associates of our Chamber partners. $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

Business Expo - November 13, 2012
Held at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m., this is one of your best opportunities to showcase your products and services and meet potential customers. All members are welcome to participate. The event is open to the public.  The keynote speaker this year is Paul W. Smith, Host, WJR, 760 AM.

Live.Play.Stay. A Weekend in Grosse Pointe - October
The Chamber celebrates all the wonderful and exciting events going on in our community!  Add your event, activity or special to our list of places to go and see in the five Grosse Pointe communities!

GP Fish - Get Hooked on Grosse Pointe - July thru October

Local artist will flex their creative muscle designing fish sculptures which will be displayed throughout the business district of the Grosse Pointe community.

The decorated fish will be unveiled at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House July 11, 2012 and will remain on display during the Detroit Symphony Orchestra summer concert series. Throughout August and September, the fish will then be porminently displayed throughout the business districts of Grosse Pointe, followed by a gala auction in October at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club.
