Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, with its affiliates in Illinois and Tennessee, make up one of the largest dental plan administrators in the nation. The enterprise in 2008 paid out nearly $2 billion for dental care for more than 7.6 million enrollees.
