Grosse Pointe North High School opened in 1968. It is home to more than 1500 students in grades 9 - 12, about 160 faculty and staff members, and countless parent volunteers, coaches, and club sponsors who work together to make North one of the best schools in the nation. The Grosse Pointe North campus includes the Performing Arts Center, which is used for a wide variety of events by all the schools in the district as well as by the community-at-large.
