The Family Center of Grosse Pointe & Harper Woods

The Family Center is a non-profit organization serving the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods communities with a mission to help build happier, healthier families. We partner with and support our local schools, other non-profit organizations, and our Association of Professionals to provide free programs and resources on a variety of topics important to families including mental and physical health, child development, special needs and learning support, and substance misuse prevention and addiction. Our online resources include timeless advice from local experts and listings for our Association of Professionals.
Additionally, the Healthy Grosse Pointe & Harper Woods Coalition’s mission is to prevent substance misuse and promote mental health through action, education, and collaboration. The Coalition operates under The Family Center with an advisory board including representation from all 12 sectors of our community including youth, parents, business, media, school, youth-serving organizations, law enforcement, religious and fraternal organizations, civic and volunteer groups, healthcare professionals, state and local agencies, and other local organizations.

The Holley Institute
The Holley Institute is located in St John Hospital and serves the Hard of Hearing , Deaf and Deaf Blind by screening all infants born at St John Hospital for hearing loss, offering all audiology services and provides programs for families with a HH/D/DB child or children.
