The Grosse Pointe Historical Society would like to (re) welcome you to the Provencal-Weir House (PWH) c. 1823. It is located at 376 Kercheval Ave., GPF. It is believed to be the oldest surviving ribbon farm house in Grosse Pointe AND Detroit. Come  visit the house and we will fill you in on the goings on across the street at the “yellow” house. We have purchased the home of Gene Stover at 375 Kercheval Ave. and are in the process of making it archival ready and people friendly. We plan on moving all the archives over there in the next few months. This location is perfect for us. We are looking forward to welcoming you!
