FallProof ™ Balance and Mobility Training Program
Event Description: (MEMBERSHIP NOT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE)
Are you afraid of falling? Are you ever unsteady on your feet?
Have you experienced one or more falls in the past year?
FallProof™ is for you! This is a structured and progressive exercise program designed to improve your balance and mobility
-Improve your walking ability
-Learn strategies to improve your ability to recover from a loss of balance -Improve your standing balance and reduce your fall risk
These sessions provide guidance, in a safe and supervised setting, for developing balance skills, and improving flexibility and strength in areas that will improve balance and reduce the risk of fall and/or injury. Pre-and post-balance assessments are conducted to identify individual need and progress.
$75/ member, $95/ non-member (8 weeks)
Neighborhood Club Recreation and Wellness Center, Manoogian Family Conference Room (second level)
