1100 Lake Shore Rd
What’s the buzz? Find out at Pollinator Palooza at Ford House with fun, hands-on activities for the family and demonstrations to explore the world of bees, bugs, birds and butterflies. Stroll in the butterfly house, peek into a living bee hive with Bees in the D, get the secrets to attracting hummingbirds with Wild Birds Unlimited, and learn about beneficial bugs with a live insect presentation from Leslie Science & Nature Center. Kids will also have fun tasting honey, building a bee hotel, making seed bombs, getting their face painted, and more! Everyone will have the chance to “adopt a pollinator” to take home and learn to be a citizen scientist by planting your own monarch butterfly way station. Bring your wings and dress as your favorite birds, bugs, bees and butterflies. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for kids, and children under 2 are free.
